When pushed together, the mixture will appear dry and solid; as you let go of it, it flows like a smooth liquid.
I made this a while ago, and its really entertaining

The picture is a bit misleading.. That's the silly-putty stuff made with glue and borax.
The recipe you gave is for the non-newtonian substance that is hard when you touch it fast and such, but goop when you slowly mess with it.

I remember we made that in school or someshit, and they gave us a recipe to take home and try with our parents. For some reason, my mom thought it to be a great idea to leave me, a 5th grade kid, alone while making it. For some reason(can't remember why) I thought we had to cook it.... To this day i still don't know what i was thinking..
