The bigger problem is that it ruins other beach towns. i have family that live at Momouth beach and it underwent a guido invasion last summer. It would be nice if people recognized us for better things to come from that area like Bruce Springsteen or the Gaslight Anthem. I have been to Europe and other places around the world and the first thing people ask when they hear where i am from is if i know snooki or situation

Though I do agree with you for the most part, I do have to say that that was how my life played out and I came out fine, a high school graduate who is now schooling overseas. I don't believe its so much the parenting as the individual. If you're born dumb and have no ambitions, yes, you will fall into the same category as your dumb parents who screwed up in the first place, but if you wish to leave the nest and go about the world on your own, then these people become some of history's most marveled. I think natural selection works out in the end, there's just a lot more people in the world so the stupid ones are more visible.
