I'm just stating how stupid it is, it wasn't aimed specifically at Marvel, it was aimed at anyone who believes rebooting a film series only a few years after the films had been so successful.

Or even bring up the fantastic four (in a vague reference at least!)

no marvel movie is canon anyway.. it's not as if toby macguire's spiderman isn't canon anymore because they're making a new one, it's basically just another movie, period..

Wow, so much fail in one post. The fact that they reuse an actor from one movie to another has nothing to do with who does or does not own the rights to the movie. Just because company A owns the rights to one movie does not mean that company B has never seen it or somehow feels they should ignore it. Also, no matter which company owns the rights, Marvel studios has been involved in all recent Marvel movies, and Kevin Feige was a producer on both FF and Avengers. Of course, you don't even know who Kevin Feige is, as you are just an extremely clueless anon.

And even if I didn't know all of these things, my assessment of the FF movie has nothing to do with my knowledge about studio politics.
