My strategy is to bite the zombies, thereby infecting them with humanity.

just go on small islands in the Mediterranean such as Malta, Mallorca, or Ibiza...
low population = few zombies
zombies cant swim so they cant get on island
will be able to fish for food and even make weekly/monthly visits to mainland for other supplies

Just sleeping in the middle of a gazillion zombies then wake up the next morning like "whats up guys" xD

Its a ball, If you took a step forward to put your dick in the hole it would roll over. Therefore squashing your dick and leaving you in a puddle of your own piss.

>zombies can't swim
>renewable power source; not huge, but enough for a small family
>housing to your right, mini-farm to your left
This is the best I could think of while trying to write a short story about a zombie apocalypse. A sci fi set in the really really distant future where communities have fled in houses inspired from <picture related> and have families grew there, and would have no way of getting from one house to another except via swimming (which no zombie could), which eventually made them evolve into aquatic humans. The community started off as a group of the most intelligent humans on the planet, since they were the only ones that predicted the apocalypse, and because of that, and pressure to stay alive, they made fantastic progress in science (also, nothing that much to do at sea). Because of this, they've learned how to age extremely slowly, but were still bound by their environment and hence grew in population extremely slowly, but still fast enough to end up with a city sized community that was finally build as one individual structure, since any traces of the zombie virus was miles away after a generation or two.
Anyway, their descendants lived more than the zombies did and started to colonize the lands again, and because of the overwhelming amount of resources that had been put in their hands all of a sudden, in a few generations they had already forgotten about their heritage, and the once incredibly advanced city their ancestors called Atlantis.
Finally on land, they reverted back to the familiar human anatomy, with a few vestigial features from our species' aquatic past.
Story inspired from the zombie apocalypse and this article:
