Ahhh. Jeremy Renner...I've had a fangirl crush on him since I saw him in SWAT. He was also sexy in 28 Weeks Later, and absolutely marvelous in 12 And Holding.

I haven't seen 12 and holding, and I thought his death in 28 weeks later was ridiculous...Why couldn't he just tell the flame thrower guys that he wasn't infected... I was sad, because of his wasted sexiness

Death of sexiness is always ridiculous, but it made his character seem all the more badass. lmfao.

I'm glad that he's getting the recognition he deserves because he really is a wonderful actor, but it kinda sucks that people are just NOW seeing him, when he's been so great for so long.

Let's be honest - SWAT is kind of a crappy movie. But Renner is pretty good. Plus it has Samuel L. Jackson in it. Haha.

I completely agree with everything you just said haha. That movie was a bit unfortunate; I think that just comes with Colin Farrell. I don't think I've ever seen a movie where he blew me away.

But to give Colin Farrell credit, he was good in scrubs :L

It seems like a stupid concept, a guy stuck in a phone booth for the whole movie....But it's actually really good, and you also realise how creepy-as-fuck kiether sutherland's voice is...I highly recommend it

I loved his performance, it was absolutely amazing. I don't think anyone else could have pulled that off better. I have ungodly man crushes on him and Cillian Murphy.

I have a theory as to why he was cast as Loki:
He beefed up a hell of a lot over an extended period of time to audition for Thor. The director told him he wanted him in the movie, but he would have to undo all his work and get skinny again to be cast as Loki. My theory is the director knew how much he wanted to play Thor (and how much work it took) and cast him as Loki instead to make the sense of resentment between the brothers feel more "real".

I think the real reason why he was cast as Loki is because regardless of how much chicken and lard he ate, he was NEVER going to be as big as Chris "Built-like-a-brick-shit-house" Hemsworth. They're Tom's actual words too. Haha. :-)
