I remember i had pokemon gold at some point. I was bored so while me and my friend were cruising around, I chucked it at a nigger.

You can replace the battery with a little bit of skill. Unfortunately, you won't be able to save your current pokemon, but you could start anew if you want. Or use an emmulator on your computer and you'll never lose them again.

You can replace it yourself. I did it with my Pokemon Blue cartridge and it's quite easy, unlike some people may say.

There are services and ways to replace the batteries. You wont get to keep any of the info, but you can start anew if you want.
