Pretty much "I can't enjoy cartoons like I used to anymore because my imagination isn't as chipper as it used to be so I'm going to give you something sad about the show to have in the back of your mind to ruin your experience watching it, too."

Because people teenage and older are still struggling with the fact that their own imagination they had as a child is deteriorated as a result of becoming older and they feel they must make everyone feel as miserable as they do.
