I don't know about you, but taking care of an area that hasn't been too great in the past few decades seems to be making the area better. Besides, how much oil is in Afghanistan and how many family members do you have who are in the military. I know my cousin is pretty damn proud about saving the lives of many by digging up and disposing of IEDs.
