If you don't know shit about the topic, then just shut up, OP.
The concept is genius.

Coming from someone who lost the person he was closest to in his life to leukemia, this was some of the greatest news I had ever heard. I hope that this becomes a common practice, and news about this is spread to everyone.
No, this procedure does not give you aids. They took the HIV samples, and neutralized them so that they retain how the virus spreads (rapid multiplication and expansion via the blood stream), but without the effects of HIV. As in, the HIV samples became delivery systems, or "vectors." They will spread rapidly through the patients' bodies, however instead of giving them HIV it acts as a vector for genetically modified white blood cells that kill cancer. Normally, white blood cells die off after killing a few foreign bodies, thus reducing their numbers even further while reproduction is limited by the cancer cells. However, these white blood cells would attack and kill cancer cells, then move on to the next and have been seen to reactivate as far as 12 months after the procedure to continue destroying cancer cells.

TL;DR: Doesn't give you AIDS, kills all (or the majority of) the cancer cells in the patient's bodies.
