You're an ass.
its not so much as HOW many died, its in what manner. unexpectedly, suddenly, violently, and all at once. yeah people die a lot in small personal cases. But this was mass genocide in the middle of the largest population on earth.
Just because people are dieing elsewhere (not just 911) doesn't mean you need to be some hard ass dick who doesn't give a damn. If you don't care just STFU.
If you don't care, its none of your buisness, so stay out.
Honestly I feel like Fj is full of a bunch of 10 year olds. Occasionally I'll see a post about respecting beliefs and morals and I feel proud of FJ, but I see this bullshit more and I realize there are just a bunch of assholes who go with the flow and will only show respect when its praised by the rest of the community.
One last thing. America isn't running to other countries shouting "hey look at this horrible event, feel bad for us!" No one implied that. They don't think they are the center of the world. People just learned about it and assumed its some American scheme to be the center of attention. Honestly if they are not the center of the world, stop assuming they are.
Bring on the red thumbs.

Hey I know this is funnyjunk and im not trying to be a buzzkill. But 9/11 was more of a symbolic attack on America's homefront. There's no clear solution to gun safety and people dont become as frightened as when there is a foreign enemy out there that can attack at any time. Like I said its more of a symbolic thing. To finish I'd like to present you this: The American Civil war has got to be one of the pussiest wars ever. Russia alone took more casualties in the battle of Stalingrad. Yet everyone flips shit over America and independence and what not.

Well lets see, when a plane flies into one of the most noticeable pair of buildings in your country and kills over 2000 people in one of the most popular cities in the world, it is a pretty big deal. Especially if you had family on it. You wouldn't understand obviously because you aren't american. If something like that happened to your country you would be the exact same way. Prepared for red thumbs.

Not defending anybody, but that kinda IS how we are...
You kill one of ours, we kill ten+ of yours. It's the only way other countries don't look to invade us, respect that we are defending a tiny government or baby country without completely demolishing it, and do not cross our will in any way, shape or form. Which is bad, but every country's ideal dream is to have other countries listen to it and support it.

"amerifags thinking they are at the center of the universe."
Educated people from the US understand that 9-11 didnt take THOUSANDS of people. It was a tragic event though, just to think of what was racing through their minds up until the crash. I crack jokes and laugh about it sometimes, but im not gonna sit here and ever tell anyone it had a great impact on the world or blahblahblah.

oh of course im not saying every american is the same most likely a majority will agree with you but my point is that many Americans will laugh at a joke about black people dying in Africa but be completely but hurt by a small joke about 9 11 personaly i cant understand that logic and of course people dying is a shame but it is inevitable so why so much buthurt from 9 11?

I'm an American and I don't understand that either.
I think that after ten years, the insensitivity of those jokes should be gone.
Several thousand who knew someone who died, yes, they are exempt from that and can call someone out on it. But everyone else is just trying to make themselves feel good and not vulnerable, which is the opposite of what America is supposed to be.

Out of sheer respect, people don't joke about the people that were gunned down by Anders because it was messed up, those who have had family members and friends, or those who went inside the towers to do their jobs and survived still suffer, I have no problem reading jokes about it but if you don't understand why you should be respectful about it then you're not mature enough to make a joke about it.
I agree, norwegian here, I am tired of him, spreading him all over the media sure helps for those who lost someone because of anders, in my opinion he should have gotten sentenced to death right away, thus his attempt to get his opinion voiced all over the country would have been a complete failure and a warning to people who wants to do the same. The case should at least been in privacy instead of public.
