Atheism is not the belief that there is no god, atheism is the position where there is no empirical evidence of a god.

Once again that is misinteprenting and misunderstanding the true definitions of these words. Non belief is not agnosticism.

Agnosticism is not about belief or non belief, it concerns knowledge. An agnostic holds the view that nothing is known or can be known of the existance of a proposed phenomenon. It is perfectly possible to hold this view while being a theist or atheist or just being an apatheist.

TL;DR Agnosticism is not some middle ground in believing and non believing, its an independent catagory compatible with belief or non belief.
