first off, wrong price on the McLaren, its well over 1 million now. thats NOT a One-77, its the new DB9. and the Bugatti Veyron SS isnt the most expensive production car, (im ignoring the lunar rover) the Mercedes-Benz 300SLR '722' holds that title, being worth £30,000,000 ($47,412,000). there is a whole list of cars not included in this post. and if this is only cars actively on the market, then you are still missing the Pagani Zonda R, SSC Tuatara and Ultimate Aero, Lamborghini Sesto Elemento and Aventador J, and the McLaren-Mercedes SLR and SLR Stirling Moss. to name a few.

the aero is a production car. not in the same respect as a civic, but it is a production car. the land-speed record isn't the subject, and i realize that the tuatara isn't out yet. cars are my life and soul. i wouldn't be talking shit if i didn't know my own shit. and the most expansive car in the world is the Mercedes-Benz 300SLR '722'. and the most expensive production car currently on the market could be the Bugatti, but that's debatable based on market value, depreciation, and up-comers this summer/fall.
