Basically, practice. Look at every style you can, any animation, to pick up on technique etc. Maybe get some graphic novels, look at real life. Go out and about with a sketchbook :)

If you scan google/ask 4chan there's a great free .pdf written by a (late) artist on how to draw the hands and the face but it's fairly complex.
