"Cubits", the unit the Ark's measurements were given in, are very poorly defined. Even using the relatively standard "elbow to fingertip" method, it's possible Noah had really long arms.

There has been thousands of claims about people finding the ark, but I'm assuming you're talking about the Turkish story where the Christian researcher claimed they were 99.9% sure it was the ark. Yeah you do know that after being carbon dated the supposed "ark" was found to be a hoax.
