I'm calling BS on two of those. How can beer be better for you after strenuous, sweaty activity than water? Alcohol dehydrates you. Also, if humans are better endurance runners than most animals than why do we use dogs for sled racing instead of humans?

The dog racing this isn't a very valid argument, considering races weren't made for endurance.

Well.... Yes they are. Many are 50 - 200 miles long.

But the point is to get there FIRST. Therefore, not endurance.

Endurance means to last AS LONG AS POSSIBLE. Therefore: Weight endurance games = Holding a weight up, for as long as possible, until everyone else fails.
Race game = Obtain a goal, BEFORE everyone else.
Races, and endurance are the opposite, and an "Endurance Race" is to have a LONGER time than your opponents, whilst a normal race is to have a SHORTER time.

What? An endurance race is to either travel a longer distance in an specified time than your opponent or travel a predetermined long distance before your opponents. For instance NASCAR 500 races are endurance races, long distance dirtbike races are endurance races, and 24 Hour Le Mans is an endurance race. No matter how you cut it you're wrong by definition.

Okay, but you're applying the definition to the context in an illogical way. The content implies that humans weren't made to get there faster, they were just made to get further. Just because a race requires a fair amount of endurance, doesn't mean the race is based entirely on endurance

No.... It's just the DEFINITION of endurance race.
Either way you're just nit picking. I made a joke about dog sled racing and you just ruin it with your hyper correct pretentious ********.

Yeah. Because I OBVIOUSLY believe that polar races should be done with humans pulling the sled...... The contestants would all die.
But if it makes you feel better then sure you can be right.
