Pidgeons are actually one of the few animals that have self recognition. Scientists did an experiment where they took a few diferrent animals (pidgeons included) and had them sedated, marked their boddies with a red mark, and then placed them in front of a mirror. When the animals woke up, the scientists observed whether or not the animals would try and remove the red mark. Pidgeons were one of the few animals that tried to remove the red mark.

Turns out it was a part of those plastic loopy things that hold cans.

This is neither funny nor true. If I were to chase a pigeon it would run away. If the pigeon is just merely in the way of my walking path then it walks away. That is hardly danger.
