So I was playing the mission where you try and save the volus ambassador from an assassination attempt. Also Miranda was on the citadel to see me, and since I romanced her in ME2 she was still wantin some of dat dick. Both of them were waiting for me in the apartment buildings. However, I didn't know which apartment had which person inside. While I was trying all the doors and could hear the ambassador freaking out because he was about to die I accidentally went into the room with Miranda. Since there was no "Excuse me, someone is being murdered next door" dialogue option I just went ahead and played it out assuming it'd let me continue the mission after. Eventually I had sex with Miranda (fuck yes). When I left the apartment the mission to save the ambassador was over. No cutscene. No explanation what happened to him. Nothing.
So basically I fucked Miranda while a key political figure was horribly murdered in literally the next room. Just another day in the life of Captain Shepard.
