i could not agree with redwolf's post more... Semiserious, you're not Christian, okay. You think that we cannot change your mind on that. You have no intent on searching for Christ, and all you want to do is look for evidence for supports your opinion. All I can say is that you should get out of your comfort zone and read things that go AGAINST your opinion. Otherwise you're just wasting your time. Whats the worse case scenario? You don't agree with it, fine. Just try to open your mind. I believe in Christ not because of some logical decision making i did, saying "oh yeah, this makes sense, i'll start believing in it". no, it was Christ working in me that caused me to believe in Him. Anyways, I will pray for you because I was once just like you. I used to be a VERY strong atheist, trying to rationalize my beliefs by finding bible verses that contradicted each other at first glance. But with a greater understanding of the Bible, I learned how much sense it makes.

this is anon from post #279. I am reading the web site you posted and i obviously don't have time to read all 50 points, but i'll respond to some of them. i'm literally just going to pick random ones because i dont have time to read them all

1. "Ask and it will be given to you" (praying for some thing) The world would cease to exist if this was the case. Some one would pray "i pray the universe didn't exist any more". Okay, obviously God is not going to do that. Are you praying for some thing that will glorify God? Are you consistently praying for it, with all your heart? Are you keeping up with your part of the deal, actively doing your part to see that it happens? The example given is that the people are praying for God to cure cancer. Do you think the world can just not have people die? We need people to die, otherwise the world would get overpopulated.

4. Prayers curing people. To put this one simply, science is explaining what is going on. Gravity is caused by objects being attracted to each other. But why? This is more of a philosophical question. Alright, so the big bang happened, we know what happened and how it happened, but why did it happen? Why could it not be God controlling what is going on? The infection is cured because it reacts in a certain way to the penicillin. We know scientifically what is happening. Is it that crazy to believe that God set things up perfectly so that we would find this cure at a specific time? Science is not the opposite of religion.

50. Why doesn't Jesus reappear? Okay, let's say Jesus reappears today. In the Bible, there were people who didn't believe what he was doing was real. They thought it was fake, an illusion, etc. If you're not open to the idea, no amount of evidence will sway you. If you're that close minded, Jesus could come down and perform a miracle on you, and you would think it was a dream,hallucination,etc. Same goes for it God showed himself. And what point would life be if we mindlessly obeyed him?

Seeing as though Jesus was nazarite he couldn't cut his hair so he would probably have a long beard too and the brown hair because like Samson brown was typically trated to those of Nazareth.

The Hebrews considered long hair a symbol of manliness and pride as a warrior. See: hebrew folk hero Samson.
