No, Before Ragnarok happens the afterlife consists of Hel and Valhalla, if you die as a warrior or an honorable death you go to Odin's side in Valhalla, if otherwise you go to Hel. Then when Ragnarok rolls around at some indeterminable time in the far future, a war goes on and a fire giant swings a sword that toasts EVERYTHING and EVERYTHING dies.
