he started out saying he doesn't have a lot of money. You're basically saying "throw that thing away and then throw your money away as well".

Nothing wrong with iMacs, but it's rather obvious that Apple costs a lot for what you get in return. If money is thight, you can easily get the same specs for a lot less of you just put windows or (even cheaper) linux on it.
