Every president does that. Literally every president, there has never been a president that hasn't lied, put out propaganda to make himself more popular, and ignored the people because he wanted to do what he thought was best. Literally every president. EVen Harrison, who died 30 days after taking office.

The point, I think, was that he isn't satan. The media had a tendency to make him look like the dumbest, most evil and detached person in the world. Remember the whole Segway fiasco? That was equally pointless and irrelevant, but they jumped on that and so did the country. Regardless of how he performed as a president, the point is to show that there are two sides to that.

He wasn't a good leader at all, but no one is ever a good leader. Ever. There are no good leaders.

Because of this, he can still be a good person and not the retarded half-monkey everyone likes to portay him as. The dude was intelligent, and kind when he could.

Dude, there are good leaders everywhere, even America had some up until the later years. Want some examples? Here are six from different areas and eras; Khufu, Yaotang-shi, Julius Caesar, Olaf II Haraldsson, Theodore Roosevelt, Winston Churchill.

He made many good calls during an extremely critical period of time. I'd say that qualifies to be considered a very good leader. also he was very karismatic, which is +1

America only went to WW2 after their ludicrous demands for shipping and trade restrictions were agreed too, and England and most of Europe were preparing to sign agreements to leave the Nazis be as long as they didnt invade. America went to war for their own reasons, almost the entire world was prepared to turn their backs on that whole mess and they all knew what was happening to the Jews by the end. Im not saying what he was doing was right, I am completely against it, but my point stands. There is no justified reason for war because the kinds of people that send us to war arent doing it for the good of the people. Its always for the good of their pockets...
