The richest people pay the same tax rates as poorer people. It's the same rate, so its equally fair. It doesn't take a genius to understand math.

-Poor people get a reduced tax rate and can write off a lot of things like charity donations and church donations. They get "refunds" from the government most of the time too.
-Rich people get FUCKED in the ass, paying a higher, premium tax rate and they cannot write off anything.
Now, I know that 1% of the US population controls 70% of the wealth, but that shit sucks!

uh. No, actually. The system is unfair because of the cap. there's a certain percentage you have to pay based on your level of income, and it increases with increasing income up to a point, and then everyone above that point pays the same percentage. So as long as you're above the cap income, you only have to pay a certain percent no matter what. So the rich can get off paying a smaller percentage then they really deserve to pay, based on their income.
