Abortion isn't that bad; I hear it really brings out the kid in you.
I dunno about abortions. Touchy topic. On one hand, I support it because it kills babies, but on the other, I don't because it gives women a choice.

I was going to read the comments, but then I realized that they are probably all going to be opinions on the pro-choice/pro-life debate, and I'll be honest: I don't give a fuck about your opinions.

I'm pro-abortion. Now don't confuse that with pro-choice, I don't think people should have a choice. If you're a fucking moron with no parenting abilities and no high school education (or even worse, you're STILL in high school) you don't get a fucking choice. You get a god damn abortion so the rest of the world doesn't have to put up with you and your shitty offspring.

Abortion is such a touchy subject, I think there is no real answer and it's all circumstantial. Even in the case of rape, pro-life may argue that the baby could be put up for adoption. But you have to take into consideration that the mother then has to undergo 9 months of pregnancy and a painful birth of a child she isn't even keeping, and throughout this 9 months she is only reminded of the rape. Even after that, what if the child then decides it wants to find its legitimate mother? In this respect I think abortion should be allowed. It's very easy for someone not in that situation to go ahead preaching pro-life.

^adopted kid
>implying that women can't make their own decisions
>implying that women don't know what happens in an abortion
>implying that women don't have the cognitive capacity to take all the things into consideration
>implying that abortion is generally not a last resort
>implying that adoption doesn't come with it's own whole set of issues

Tell that to all the kids growing up in shitty foster homes how 100% sure you were that someone one would adopt them. Not to mention how fucked up the adoption system is. Why should a woman raped or in physical danger of child birth be forced to try to carry a child to term? Or throw her future away because she was knocked up young and couldn't balance a child with work/education. These are people who don't want a child, do you think they will make a great parent when they don't want it? You think that kid is going to have a great chance at a promising future? What about back ally abortions where young women die, it wont end just because someone said "no I refuse to let women have abortions in a safe, clean, medical environment." I don't want people's religious and personal beliefs controlling my life thanks. Yes there should be limits to the process but no flat outlaw of it.

For the most part, I'm pro-life, but I do allow some exceptions:
> If a woman is raped and gets pregnant
> If a woman's baby is going to be born with life-threatening conditions
> If a pregnant woman has a chance of dying during childbirth
> If it's an incest baby with disabilities
One of my long time friends had to get an abortion at 22 weeks last week because her baby had spinabifida, club foot, bone deformities, and the nasal bone was causing brain damage; the baby wouldn't have even survived the pregnancy.
I do not--by any means--approve of somebody getting an abortion just because they "don't want to deal with being pregnant" even if there are dozens of families looking to adopt.

Women have access to birth control before, during, and after sex. The Pill, all forms of contraception, the morning after pill.
Yet despite all of this, despite having options every step of the way, somehow it isn't their "fault" that they are pregnant. Take some fucking responsibility for your actions and stop murdering your fucking fetuses. You fucked up (literally) so deal with it.

im not sure how to feel about this but for the record i'd rather be pregnant than dead.
So getting pregnant is no longer (most of the time) a choice?
