This state is full of backwards ******** man, N.C. is going to be "That guy" when it comes to gay marriage, ive had people try to convince me its Gods will that gays be kept separate, that by keeping them from getting married the bigots are "saving the gays from themselves" since apparently all gays are "sinister and lead destructive lifestyles", That gay families cant function properly and the kids will grow up misguided and backwards.

But this one recently takes it all, Theres a teacher at our school who also preaches, ironically hes racist as hell (Has told a Philipino kid they used to shoot "his kind" during the war, the Korean War, this kid isnt remotely korean). Hes come up behind me and litterally choked me to the point i couldnt breathe for a few seconds with his walkie-talkie wire at lunch, he thinks its funny, punches the guys pretty hard, etc. But recently he was going around trying to get people to come to his Church (A dont in public school but it happens anyway) and he came to our table and we ask him about our gay friend whos at the table and he looks at our gay friend, looks at us and says "Everyone here is welcome to come, except for [Gay friend]" and walks off.

It baffles me people can be so ignorant.

I'm somewhat against pro-gay laws.

Hear me out first, before you rain red thumbs upon an Anon!

1.) Where does the mindset stop?

2.) A while ago, being homosexual meant you get jailed, or even in some places, killed. Why? Because it was looked down upon. It wasn't socially acceptable. But now it is. More and more people are becoming openly gay and more and more people are accepting gay marriage.

3.) Going back to point 1. Let's say in about 100 years, a movement starts, but this time it's with people of different ages. Let's say 50 years later, the act of a 52 year old and a 17 year old getting married is becoming legal. Why? Because it's becoming socially acceptable, unlike 150 years ago.

4.) Fast forward another 150 years. Another movement starts to include "all animals" in love, saying it's socially prejudiced to exclude one species and not another. Go ahead another 100 years and now it's socially acceptable for a dude to marry his horse. Why? Because **** is evolving, times are changing, the mindset of people are shifting. It's socially acceptable know, unlike 250 years ago.

5.) How do we stop the evolving mindset when it gets out of control? What do we do if that happens, because it sure isn't impossible.

I just wanted to express my feelings. I already know I'm gonna get drowned red thumbs, but this is my philosophy; I realize it may be flawed in places, but it's a philosophy, not a law.

since 2001 gay people in holland can get maried
and nothing changed
we haven't legalized incest or beastiality and we never will
why?
because that IS a sickness and being gay isn't
I know many gay people, in fact my brother is a homosexual and all these people are extremely normal
and just for liking the same sex doesn't mean you shouldn't b able to get married
as long as its humans marying and both people are okay with it
there is nothing wrong with it, is there?

now your argument will probably be
how about a 50 year old dating a 12 year old
that is wrong because you will traumatize the kid for life

think before you say something
your theories are very bad and you should feel bad

This country is in the ******* and the biggest problem right now is gay marriage? Oh wow.

Are you kidding? Unemployment is way up, half of college grads can't find a job, people are leaving the work force left and right, gas prices through the roof. But oh no. Gays can't play house. That's the issue that really get's people going. Not the fact that they can't find a job and can barely drive anywhere anymore.
