Jesus promised no more wicked people, Norse gods promised no more ice giants. Are there any ice giants around? Didn't think so.

Not sure why people are thumbing you down for stating true facts. Ungrateful people! Probably Surtur worshipers, all of 'em!

Thanks! Just, you know, no hard feelings if you get hit with a turtle shell next time you see a rainbow. Those things are tough to aim.

It humors me that so many people think that just because they live in a certain country or their parents did... or their parents parents... that makes them vikings... listen folks, I am danish, that doesn't make me a viking automatically.

vikings were seafaring, plundering, raping, pillaging, hardcore bastards who every other nation back then feared... ladies and gentlemen... no person who spends his or her time on the internet looking at funny picture is a true viking.

end of story

MFW people say "im a viking" or "im going to Valhalla"

A viking was a warrior who claimed land and honour in places to become a king. You can still be a warrior by using the internett

I honestly do not see how... the internet didn't exist back then, as I am sure you are aware of.
so how should the vikings ever be able to say "hey, if you waste your time on the computer, you will go to Valhalla aswell"? there is nothing warrior-like about the internet.

so I still say, if you don't spend your time fighting, plundering, pillaging, raping, murdering, molesting, burning, killing or other things down that alley, you are not and will never be a true viking... ofcourse you can say you are a "Modern Viking"... thats what I do, but I will never be as awesome as those axeswinging, bigbearded, mushroom eating killer machines.

Not you, nor me or anyone else is a viking, we can try to uphold the old ways by drinking mead, praising the gods and go by our lives, but matter of a fact is, you will never cleave someones skull with your sword... never... and certainly not in glorious conquest

I like the fact that vikings ate mushrooms (fluesvampe) to go berserk.... that is super sweet, and berserkering means to fight shirtless.

it also has a secondary meaning... "Man-Bear", because they would usually only keep on their bearskin cloaks, hence the "ber" in the name
