Noah's ark never happened...

Arguing from ignorance much?

"If you can't prove it didn't happen then it didn't happen."

But how can you prove that it happened, save for a 2000 year old book written by a bunch of bored guys looking for a way to control the less educated folk in the village?

Look, I believe what I believe. Why can't we just leave it at that? Why is it so important to you that i believe what you do?
User avatar #77 to #74 - The Unheard (05/10/2012) [-]
Why are you twisting my words around? And when did I ever say that you need to believe what I believe? You asked the anon for proof that it didn't happen... I'm asking you for proof that it did.

There isn't any proof because, what i believe, everything was destroyed. Save the occupants of the ark

How convenient that everything would be destroyed. Wouldn't everyone and everything be severely genetically mutated by now, assuming we could still breathe and BE on our own?

Proof that it is real?
User avatar #61 to #59 - thelastprothean (05/10/2012) [-]
Well the only proof i can offer you, you don't believe in so there isn't any point in even mentioning, but nonetheless, can you offer any proof that it didn't happen?

Don't argue if you can't back your point. It is true we have no trace of Noah's ark, however there are accounts of the flood from every continent. As well as the sendiment layers have shown proof of the flood from thousands of years ago. To reply to The Unheard, so you're saying the person Jesus Christ never existed, that is in fact ignorance. The Greeks and Romans have accounts for him, the Jews that were eyewitnesses to his miracles also have accounts. The family trees are accurate, the events in Exodus are true as there are Egyptian accounts. To sum up -thelastprothan if you can't back your **** up, back off and educate yourself or else you are just setting a example as a sheep wiling to believe anything you were taught to believe.

You make a good point, and I should have researched it before I started arguing. Thank you, and enjoy this green thumb

that's like me saying i can fly and because you can't prove that i can't, then the only logical answer is that i'm right.

stop believing in fairy tales...
User avatar #71 to #67 - thelastprothean (05/10/2012) [-]
I don't see it as a fairy tale. But if you choose to see it that way then that is your choice
User avatar #63 to #61 - denbaby (05/10/2012) [-]
I'm not anon. I'm just asking for proof that it is real.
#75 to #63 - Ken M (05/10/2012) [-]
actually remains of the ark have been found
User avatar #80 to #75 - denbaby (05/10/2012) [-]
By evangelical Christian explorers, c'mon.
User avatar #65 to #63 - thelastprothean (05/10/2012) [-]
Well the only proof i can offer is the bible. There really isn't anything else. But I will say that most of the Old Testament is so backwards, that i don't really believe most of what i read in there
User avatar #66 to #65 - denbaby (05/10/2012) [-]
Oh so no hard evidence? Gotcha.
User avatar #69 to #66 - thelastprothean (05/10/2012) [-]
If you choose to see it that way, then yes. But that isn't how I see it
User avatar #73 to #69 - denbaby (05/10/2012) [-]
Reading an old book and believing that it actually happened. I can do the same thing. I can read star wars and believe that it actually happened. Who knows? Maybe it did. People were so gullible back then. Not saying I'm atheist, but I believe there is a higher power.
User avatar #78 to #73 - thelastprothean (05/10/2012) [-]
If you want to believe that, then go for it. i won't evangelize or try to stop you
#101 to #78 - Ken M (05/10/2012) [-]
I agree. I have the same perspective, I don't force my beliefs on people because they don't believe what I do. So question to people who start **** . Why do you have to force your views on someone simply because they believe in a different "god" or "system" or "religion"? Why don't you quit stoking your ego and **** off. And I'm not ashamed of what I believe, nor will I apologize if someone is dogmatic enough to be insulted by what I believe. I rest my point. Have a great night guys and I hope you're all doing well.
