voted against the "world economy"? Or voted in a president who is against austerity measures set by the EU? Little bit pedantic, but I don't think the global economy is personified. Also UK didn't sign up to the EU's financial proposals, to protect the City of London, although as a government it is against high public spending (unlike new French president Hollande)
