The hypothesis here is that its easier to bite through a finger. Skin and stuff is elastic, wich the carrot is not. So in this particular case, there is no way a carrot is easier to chew. Whatsoever.

I never liked them mostly because Mike Portnoy left DT and joined them...
And I don't like their music really

He went back to DT... Seriously, don't blame A7x for that, they didn't want him to do that. He went to them and said "Guys, I left Dream Theater to be your new drummer" and they said "We aren't sure this band can continue without The Rev, let alone continue with the guilty conscience having stealing you from Dream Theater" and begged him to reconsider. But anyway he went back.

As for not liking the music, well fair enough, that's your personal opinion :) But seriously, don't blame them for what went on with Mike Portnoy. They wanted him temporarily and eventually the media and Portnoy himself stretched it into some sort of love triangle crap that they didn't want.

I don't mind Mike Portnoy. He was the guy who rang sevenfold every day to check up on them and help them through the Rev's death. Personally, I have a little repesct for him for that, but i completely agree with the fact that Mike and the media streched out his stay and in the end overstayed his welcome.

Yeah, agreed. A7x and a7x fans will always be grateful for what he did, but he really should have talked to them before he did what he did. It was a rash decision and he realised that eventually. Unfortunately, Dream Theater had moved on from what I hear and he couldn't convince them to change their mind.

They were lucky to have him though.

A7x are touring with Arin Ilejay or someone (I don't like him and I hope he doesn't stay) and I think Portnoy just dun goofed in that case. He thought Avenged would have him so he left DT is my basic understanding of it.

Did you actually read it? It is ONE of the strongest materials in nature. ONE CUBIC INCH of bone can withstand 19,000 lbs of pressure, the skull is not one inch thick by any means, well, yours may be the exception.

Which is exactly why it said one of the strongest, as for the argument with the skull, you have to remember that 'one cubic inch of bone' is talking about a one inch cubed block of bone, with no space in the middle for it to cave in on itself, and no holes such as eye sockets to weaken the structure. Of course, it doesn't take a genius to figure out there would be many cases of decapitated fingers if this were to be true. Mainly from people accidentally biting their fingers while eating food with their hands.

Plus a chicken bone is much thinner than a human bone, and by the time you're eating it, it's been dead for a while and been cooked too.
