I might get a sea of red thumbs for this but here goes.

Am I the only one that liked only the original Dragon ball?

Cuz I really hated DBZ and DBGT, the only one I really liked was the original one and after DBZ started it all went to shit to me, yeah there is new techniques and the action (when there was) was wort watching but other than that, to me, the plot sucked.

Somehow when a series starts involving aliens, it looks to me like it lost all its dignity.

I just hated that you were set up for disappointment if your favorite character was anyone but Goku, I mean really, you could just remove everyone else and the only difference would be less stalling. I actually liked Krillin in DB, then in Z the only thing I keep thinking is "why the fuck is he still here?"
If you do want anime with a good plot, try One Piece, it also has a very similar humor style to the original DB.

Ah yeah, Im reading one piece periodically, it's quite enjoyable and comical, and it seems to be endless while keeping a good plot.

I loved DB and DBZ, but i didn't like GT. It just didn't have the same vibe of the previous series. I think that could be accredited to Akira Toriyama (the creator of the franchise) having nothing to do with GT.

GT wasn't even canon, it was just a big ass filler arc. I think Dragon Ball Z went down hill after the Frieza arc, but everything before that was pretty awesome. It went from being fun and creative in Dragon Ball to a muscle flexing and screaming contest in DBZ.

Pic related

Unfortunately GT WAS canon, Akira Toriyama was involved with it and actually drew up all the characters, which now only gives it one less excuse for sucking, but honestly, DBZ was already seriously rolling down hill, GT just shot it down a little faster.

I know the feel.

Oh, that one.

Indiana jones + Aliens = Crystal skull.

I rest my point that, when you include aliens on a series (one that didn't used them from the start) it ends up sucking balls.

You probably liked it because Goku had his dick out half the time. Plus you may prefer comedy over action.

A) I could argue that DBZ and DBGT have more than enough scenes to sugest homo relationships, but I wont sunk to your level.
B) DBZ and specially DBGT made a lot of jokes too

My first point was a joke, sorry to offend but Dragon ball was a comedy while the other too were actions.

I should have taken it as a joke, but was not sure :P

Even though DBZ included a plot that didnt made much sense to me I still watched it, mainly because I wanted to know more about Goku going Super Sayan and because I loved those SNES fighting games from DBZ.

My main complain would be how long they extended each fight and how they dispended extra lives like candy.

It's a show about aliens fighting to the death about some crystal balls that summon forth a dragon that can grant you one wish. I chose not to question it.
