Scumbag Spiderman

Spiderman died last year, you can't fault a dead guy for not showing up. Aragorn will summon him with the rest of the Dead Men of Dunharrow to fight in the next movie. Then in the third Harry Potter will destroy the last Death Star. OP clearly has never read the comics.

There are 3 different production companies that own Spiderman, the X-Men, and the Avengers. Until the fanchise-lease-dooflingy runs out and is bought by the one company, there can't be a full Marvel-universe movie.
Also, the Avengers never actually contained Spiderman or the X-men, however it did have characters like Ant-Man and the Wasp.

Actually Spiderman isn't part of the Avengers becase Paramount and Marvel (who made the movie) don't hold the rights for Spiderman movies. They belong to Sony Entertainment Picture. So, unless there's an agreement between the studios, you'll never see Spiderman among the Avengers. Same story for X-Men and Fantastic Four, whose rights are held by Fox.

ok, so. the real reason why spiderman is not included in the avengers is Marvel does all of its movies chronologically, and, with there being a new version spiderman coming out, they couldn't add the old one, because he is no longer spiderman, and in because in Marvel's movie timeline, Amazing Spiderman has yet to even be bit by any radioactive spider.

Anyway, in the comics when Thanos first appeared, he defeated the Avengers. He captured them and was seemingly on his way to rule Earth. Then guess who rescued them and subsequently defeated Thanos? Spiderman.

He is more than likely going to be in Avengers II, which is why they're remaking the Spider-Man movie, they're trying to make him more canon to the Avengers. As much as I enjoyed the Spider-Man movies with Toby Maguire they weren't very relevant to the actual story line of the Amazing Spider-Man/ Avengers comics.

TL;DR - basically they're remaking the spider-man movie so they can (hopefully) put him in the sequel to the Avengers

The one with Toby Maguire was lame. Spidermans' villains didn't die. Spiderman shot web with wed shooters he built and my favorite Spiderman comics had to be the newer Ultimate Spiderman series. I like the idea of Peter Parker an agnsty teenager with super powers.

The ones with Toby Maguire weren't all that bad, and yes I know he shot web with the web shooters he built which is why I mentioned they were making it more canon to the comics. if you notice in the Amazing Spider-Man trailers you see Parker "inventing" the shooters..

This is NOT A NEW MEME, I just decided to make an Image macro of something funny I noticed from the avengers movie. Yeah its pretty crappily made.
