And so it was, a child, parents, a lover, lost their man because a wolf decided that simply scaring a man was not good enough. A wolf, blinded by contempt and emotions beyond him, tried to stop an industry far greater than one man and a few lambs. Mistaking Darwinian law for parental neglect, he did not see the man as a human. He saw the man as a brain-dead trigger that caused slaughter. He killed a meaningful life for a meaningless cause. So the wolf will never be satisfied with his vengeance, the family will never see their loved one again, the lambs parents will be caught and promptly returned to be "slaughtered."

And so it was. The cycle began again. This wolf will die by the hand of ballistics, his corpse a message of martyrdom. Another wolf will be decapitated in pure spite by an emotional family. The dogmatic cry of retribution echoes through the dead. It will not affect the lambs, they lost the will to live. Where is the thanks when the heart is gone? No one will come and tell them the wolf fought for them. They'll live the rest of their grey lives thinking even their enemies forsook them.

And so it was, the darkness was still in the shadows.

And so it was.

Thank you, I appreciate that.

I don't know what else to offer as a thank you, so take this. I have some DIY things and a few that are illegal, but this is my go-to thank you card.
