I'm prepared for red thumbs to hell but....
Doesn't it seem like the Avengers was kind of poorly planned? The only two that aren't completely useless without their obscure weaponry that the average army in modern times would not carry is Thor and the Hulk. Thor without his hammer isn't very strong in his own movie he got beat pretty hard until he got help. Then Hulk its all about anger if they soothe him then the Avengers are screwed.
So why were the X-men and Spiderman excluded? They would probably be great help....

Thor weak without his hammer???? He fucking took on the Hulk without it.

novastroyer (05/06/2012) [-] It's not called the Destroyer for no reason, which was also created by the Asgard peoples who were practically Gods, so in any case he got beat up by a God-made creature....which can deal way more damage than a modern soldier

1. In Thor's movie, he got beat by god tier weapons. Anything under that doesn't even hurt him.

In the Avenger's movie, it is stated that Banner has tried to kill himself, with a bullet through the mouth, and into the brain. This failed, due to "the other" guy coming and and spitting the bullet back out. Thus his transformation can be instantaneous, and therefore cannot be surprised by anything remotely slower then a bullet.
3. "soothe" and "Hulk" cannot be in the same sentence. Who the fuck can soothe the Hulk?

I'd just like to point out that even though it will most likely be Thanos there is a small probability that it may be the skrulls, movies tends to have some innacuracys (meaning the Skrulls would be red instead of green) and i very much doubt that there will be skrull to appear until another fantastic 4 movie (but it is work mentioning)

geist (05/06/2012) [-] they've already shown the infinity gauntlet, in the armory in asgard, and that's central to the Thanos story. that said, it may be a teaser for Thor 2. also the "Chitauri" are the Ultimate Marvel version of the Skrulls, so having one movie feature Chitauri and the next feature Skrulls would be the lamest thing they could do.
