To everyone that has not been informed, Mako was the original voice actor for Uncle Iroh in seasons 1 and 2. I believe he died of cancer in 2006. He also voiced Aku from Samurai Jack. The character Mako in The Legend of Korra is dedicated to him as well.

That moment when you realize 2 things.
1. Irohs dead son is named Mako.
2. Mako is in the new series "The Legend Of Korra". Hes the FIREbender in that arena tournament thing-a-ma-jig.
My guess is that Mako is Zukos grandson.
