Probably? with the size and mass of venus, the planet being that close would destroy the tides, cause huge earthquakes, and most likely pull us off earth. This is complete BULLSHIT!

It would fuck up the tides and the atmosphere, but not cause earthquakes, i think. Aren't they caused by tectonic plates hitting/colliding with each other?

Yes, think about it. The massive gravitational pull would also affect the plates. They would all get pulled towards venus, causing MASSIVE shifts that would be devastating.
