Diabetes has very little to do with sugar, it does have to do with carbohydrates, the most common of which is sugar. When carbs are ingested, they are absorbed into the blood stream as Glucose. The body tries to metabolize them into fat and muscle cells for energy, by having the pancreas increase the amount of insulin in the blood stream. If the pancreas is over worked for too long, or the body develops a resistance to the insulin, it loses its ability to produce enough insulin, and blood glucose levels rise to the point that certain proteins become toxic.

im one too, but my body did't get used to the insulin or get worked too hard. my white blood cells did't recognise my pancreas's cells and tried attacking them.

nope, i have never broken a bone, never been to the hospital (other than regular checkups).
