a little over a year ago I read a post on a forum by a guy who had pre-ordered the new Duke Nukem Forever game 10 years ago, and still had the receipt. He was wondering if the company would still honor his preorder.

I had SC2 preordered for about 3 years, when it came out I was in a different state and my receipt was so faded that there weren't any words on it anymore, but thankfully gamestop just had to call my hometown to verify that I had it on reserve.

God I loved D2: LoD. I was so fucking pissed when I upgraded my pc, and it wouldn't run with it. But since D3 is coming out, I'm happy.

I can still play D2: LoD on my Windows 7 comp. Just run it in 256 colors, disable virtual themes, and disable desktop composition (if you have Windows 7, I don't know if it works with Vista).
