My family isn't even from the south, so don't think it's in my DNA. Some with the original 13 British colonies in the New World, they felt mistreated, so they rebelled, and won. *facepalm* They felt mistreated because the North kept helping the slaves with as much as they possibly can. They rebelled by parting from the United States. The North didn't like that, so they sent troops at (forgot where it was. Fort Sumter?) and then there, was when all hell broke loose and the Civil War began.

That's like me having my profile picture as Nazi flag and saying non of my family is pure German, but I sure do love their reasons of doing things! Think, think, think.

But all he posts on FB is "I MAY TAKE PRIDE IN MY CONFEDERATE FLAG BUT THAT DOESNT MAKE ME RACIST." then the next post goes, "THE SOUTH SHALL RISE AGAIN!" With a youtube video supporting the Confederacy.

Actually, it was rebellion over taxes on all things and the fact that their live were being governed by people that had never even seen the Americas.
The reason that they had the Boston Tea party was because there happened to be a huge shipment of tea coming in, if it had been tobacco, coffee, chocolate or anything else, then it would be named after that substance.
