well that was a little uncalled for. i was just pointing out that getting high does not hurt you, or other people nor is it forbidden in the bible.

Does not hurt you? Short term memory loss is a major one... When people say that marijuana can fry your brain, they aren't really kidding

Not to mention, forming a drug habit such as that can cause one to move on to bigger and (not really) better things such as cocaine, crack, or other things.

You also need to be careful... with marijuana you may not be getting the "real deal". There are several different dangerous chemicals that it could be laced with that you don't know about.

I read in the news a couple of years ago people who have died from smoking tainted weed.


Also, I'm not a very religious person myself but it is mentioned in the Bible.

If I remember correctly it was something like "Your body is a temple or God, do not cause harm or destroy it"

well that "gateway drug" stuff isnt entirely the drugs fault. its the person's fault for being a moron. the thing in the bible does not specifically refer to weed. also recent studies show that it improves your mental faculties, leading to a temporary increase in your skill at things such as driving or gaming. it also can help prevent alzheimers and treat the symptoms of a rare auto-immune disease causing nausea. a relative of mine has it due to being placed on a 1200 calorie a day diet from a very young age until college by her father and moved to amsterdam so she could toke without worrying about the police. it also stimulates hunger in chemo and aids patients. as long as you dont abuse it it's fine.
