I still have my 1st Gen iTouch(got it used) and it works fine. Why am I forced to spend 500$ every year on the latest version because Apple is forcing me to upgrade? Why should I? It works fine. I dont want to upgrade.

Its like their computers,you pay for the name,nothing else. I hate apple. Im not a fan of Microshaft,but its the lesser of two evils.

Actually products like the Xbox from microsoft are designed to physically break down after a certain period of time (usually right after warranty expiration).

This is not the case with Apple's products.

Also Apple makes sure that their products are made as environmentally friendly as possible. (Aluminum, Glass etc.)

I agree that Apple has LOTS of bad sides, but dont act like other companies are saints.

Crapple is the worst. Yeah,sure,its "nice for the enviroment". My iTouch has worked with little to no issue since i got it. Its a first generation. So why am I only "supported" up to iOS 3. whatever? Why cant I have my iTouch be up to date?
Oh wait,its because I need to upgrade it every year and drop another 300$ for it.
My first generation Zune 30 still works. Has no issues with the latest Zune updates. Yet my first gen iTouch does? Fuck that. Im not gonna drop all that money every year or two to upgrade when it works fine.

Mind you,my original Xbox still works. My 360 was a launch model,and it just died.
An Apple product is obsolete by the years end. Why would I spend all that money on a Crapple product when I can build the same thing and save half the cost?

Buy a used Apple case,put your own parts in it,run Hackintosh and BAM your very own Apple computer for half the costs.

The reason why your iTouch isn't up to date is simply a question of hardware obsolescence, You cant expect to buy a product and just update the software for 10years to match the new, Just like you cant make your 10year old computer perform as good as a new one by updating the software.

I like the fact that Apple has only 1 phone that they update once a year, it makes you certain that you have the best product for at least a year. As opposed to HTC who seem to come up with a new phone every month. I would be pissed, buying the newest HTC and see a newer one on the market the month after.

And if you buy cheaper hardware and build your own computer only to install hacked Apple software, then you are a hypocrite

1)Apple uses second line parts. meaning,they are not worth their value.
2)if I REALLY wanted Crapple software,I can buy Snow Leopard for about 50$ on Amazon.com.
3. Why would I pay top dollar for middle shelf parts?
4.Theres a reason why Apple has gotten so much hate over the years. Over priced tin cans filled with parts so overpriced that you may as well give up your first born child every time its time to upgrade.
5.I do not want their shitty software. If I was big into movie,or audio editing,then yes,I would want a homebuilt(using parts better than anything Crapple puts in) and then I would run the latest OSX. But I game,so therefore,I do not need a Mac OSX.
