First hand experience of this. Two weeks agoI go into hospital with severe pain caused by a cyst on my spine. Waited two hours in A&E till a doctor sees me. "Sorry we have no one to operate right now we'll keep you overnight you will be treated first thing in the morning. And you can't eat or drink."
Spend all night unable to sleep in too much pain, next morning placed on an iv drip, one nurse fucked up th first arm so had to have the cathiter in my other arm. The painkilers in the drip did nothing, thirsty and hungry, also tired from lack of sleep.
Don't go into surgery till 11:50 that night. =.= waited for a whole day just to have a simple operation being told every three hours you'll be next to go into the operating room.
