let me tell you what guys, there is one reason, that makes me hate apple pc's. They are expensive as fuck and there is absolutely no reason for them to be this high priced. here is an example (we take the best quad core setup for a mac and a better but cheaper setup for the windows Pc):
Macintosh:
3,2 GHz-Quad-Core Intel Xeon Processor, 32 GB DDR3 ECC SDRAM, 1 TB 3 GBit/Sek. Serial-ATA, 1x ATI Radeon HD 5870 1 GB, 18x SuperDrive, 27'' Apple LED Cinema Display, -> will cost about 5.773,01€ ( 7614,89$)
Now a Windows based pc
INTEL I7 3770K @ 3,4 GHz, 1x Gtx 680 , 32GB DDR3 PC1600, 1000GB SATA3 6Gbit/sek., MSI Z77A-G43 motherboard, 22x DVDRW drive + Sony Bravia full-hd LED 40'' tv.
this will cost 1800-2000€ ( 2374-2637$)
Congratulation, you just saved 5000$, but hey, whats that ? you like the apple os x better than windows and you are not stupid enough to pay 5000€ more for a inferior setup ? Go to www(dot)hackintosh(dot)com and get the fucking lion or snow leopard os x for fucking free !

Im not going to start bitch on your reply because yeah apple does cost more tho but..
Where's the cooler?
Wheres the PSU?
Wheres the SSD?
And most important zhizzle of all, Where da foq is your computer cabinet?
Btw. if you're going to take an expensive mac computer u could but some expensive parts in your Windows aswell.
Im not going to bitch anymore tho because im not a mac fan, therefore not defending it :)

Im not going to give links to the prices for those parts BUT if you look up a 680 graph. card you'll notice its Much more than just 300 - 400€ :p
A "cheap"gtx 680 graph card would cost you probly 500€ or more. As you notice he already got " expensive parts " which means the value has sufficient increased.
summit: with 400 € you cannot even afford the graph card.

The gtx 680 is already included at the 2000, I was talking about the cooler , psu etc. those are not really expensive.
The parts he put in are more expensive than those are in the mac's, apple just sells it for way too much.
A hd 5770 in a mac pro. That card is 3 years old

I would say 400 - 500 but it could be more if you want quality but w/e close enough.
The age doesn't say either if its good or bad. A good example is the I5 2500k pros. Its a I5 and it has a age, but it can overclock to 4.5 easy without any problems.
My plot is that he found a very expensive mac, when you could find a cheaper one who fits to this computer.
In a way of speech: the windows cant be compared with the mac in this example because the mac literaly rapes the windows computer.
use 7600$ on a windows comptuer and compre it with the 7600$ mac and you would bairly see the difference.

Also , Ram... 4gb was 25€ for my desktop. See the options. Copied them
3 GB (3 x 1 GB)
6 GB (3x2 GB) [+ € 225,01]
8 GB (4x2 GB) [+ € 375,00]
12 GB (3x4 GB) [+ € 525,00]
16 GB (4x4 GB) [+ € 775,00]
24 GB (3 x 8 GB) [+ € 1.275,00]
32 GB (4 x 8 GB) [+ € 1.775,00]

For example when you want a mac pro. The 27" screen is 999 euro's. THE SCREEN ALONE. An extra hd 5770 ( 3 years old outdated ) 250 eu extra , the card is worth less than 100 eu.
A 512 gb ssd 1.400 extra .
It's just ridiculous. MacOS itself is nice but Apple is really overpriced
