T-90. 125mm main turret, 12.7mm mounted MG and a 7.62mm LMG, Reactive Armor Plates, Coating to prevent being detected by thermal imaging systems, also uses a Thermal Optics kit for the main gun, and the capability to launch ATGM's that can kill an enemy tank at 1.5 kilometers away. Also, some are being fitted with experimental EMP units to scramble enemy electronics and detonate mines and IED's from a distance.
TL;DR T-90's are about 40 tons of Whoop-Ass.

I refer you to my post above.....
The M1A1 Abrams MBT has a depleted uranium sabot-penetrator round that hit with such force that it melts steel and sets its target on fire, without the use of explosives.
Also, the Abrams thermal system is so advanced that it can detect a vehicle that loitered in an area, 6 hours or more after it left.

Most modern tanks now are equipped with DU sabots for heavy AP duty, but the T-90's ATGM launcher has more range. The Abrams does have a damn good thermal system, but the main thing it has going for it is the armor and targeting. The T-90 is a lot faster, easier to maneuver and packs a helluva punch. Depending on the terrain, it'd be a really interesting fight to watch. Another interesting fight would be an AH-64D against the Russian KA-52 Alligator variant.
But in true American fashion, it GUZZLES fuel. It has a tiny maximal range of 400KM/250Mi, off-road it's about half that. Do to it's inefficiency, it has to be followed around everywhere by a convoy of unprotected and vulnerable fuel trucks.
The T90 has a far greater range, and fuel efficiency.
Another advantage the T90 has is stealth and reliability. The T90 has a normal V12 diesel engine. It's much more quiet than the M1's jet turbine. Another problem Jet turbines has is that they get very very hot inside, this means that if the engine sucks up small particles of sand and dust hat manage to get through the air filters, the sand can melt into glass, and coat the inside of the engine breaking it. This doesn't happen to normal diesel cylinder engines.

Oh, yes. It was designed shortly after the Vietnam war, So I'm surprised that it's still going strong, considering the age of the design. It was widely believed that the Soviets would invade mainland Europe and that there would be massive mechanized land battles, because the radiation form all the nukes would kill the foot soldiers, so they built tons of tanks that could keep the crew alive in a nuclear wasteland.
