But there is only 12 months in a year, not 21.

Oh, hey look, another comment that's going to start an America vs. Britian war. what a surprise.

yeah you're right so what we write the date different big fucking deal. We changed the way we wrote are dates so we could be different than British Fags like you. Want to call America out go for it but keep in mind for the 235 years of American existance we've had to save Europe's ass two times.

The proper way to write it HERE is December 21, 2012, so 12/21/12

But if it's different other places then that's fine.

Who gives a fuck anyway?

There is a reason we do it this way. 1-12/1-31/0-2000000000. You get it? It's in ascending order of most possible outcomes. It's actually intelligent. Otherwise it would look like this: 1-31/1-12/0-20000000000, which has no basis on any patterns whatsoever. So I'm sorry that our country pulled away from the illogical and thought "let's make a pattern of this instead." I mean, the world makes fun of the US for not using the metric system because it's easier due to it's patterning of tens, but then they turn on us when we actually pattern our dates to make it easier? WTF man, makes no sense.

I don't see why you thumbed him down. He actually has a point, so instead of being closed minded assholes, why not take a moment to get his point... Anon is right... It might look weird, but it's more logical despite the illogical claims it's given.

don't even bother trying to make them understand they are not a super race of logical humans, just let them run around with their cocks in their mouths.

if it doesn't follow their rules, it's wrong, apparantly.

Days = shortest time period
Months = middle time period
Years = longest time period
Hence we write 15/4,12 for example

and we go by the smallest to biggest numbers. neither are wrong
