going from World at War to Modern Warfare is a major difference, Modern Warfare2 was a slight difference, and Modern Warfare was barley a difference. People consider it a huge difference because they forgot about MW2 while they were playing Black Ops. In all fairness though its hard to change a game completely anymore, most companies stick to the same game plan and systems and just run with them. MW3 is a good game but its not that big of a difference from MW2.

Battlefield could use a game mode that is a little more fast-paced yes. But I absolutely can't stand the CoD community.

I love the destructible environments because it gives you a chance to take out pesky camping spots.

I used to play black ops. Then i got horrible knife detection. So i stopped playing everyhting. even zombies because it got boring.

I make my little brother-in-law buy the map packs. Zombies on the moon is actually a pretty cool concept.

Yeah but they made it so hard when they gave you gravity in the dome. You miss the pads half the time and just hit the ground and go down. Also, my friend bought all the ones after the first so i just get the maps from him. PS3 FTW.

I love the dome. The zombies are generally worse than you on them, so just try not to go down and you can kill most of them off.

More or less. its the fact that we play with 4 people and everyone competes for the box. so by the time we get to round 10 we're all dead because one person used the box the whole time and everyone had mp5's and a cz75.

We go through it systematically. The trick is to not play with douches. Usually by round 15 we've all got lmg's and a special.

I don't play with douches. I play with my friends. we usually go from our favourite maps to moon. by the time we play on moon we're so tense of camping and just shooting things systematically we just start running around and killing everything in anyway. shit I knife on round 20.

i GUARANTEE i will be flamed and thumbed down....

but i have played all cod multilayer from cod3-Blops. and i still frequently go back to play them all, because they are still fun as hell. (except mw2, because it is my least favorite, and cod3 because you cant get in a match at all and i sold it). and i have concluded that the call of duty series kicks more ass than most game series or else i wouldnt still be playing them so often when they have changed so little.

Sure i like battlefield 3 more, but that is because it is my first battlefield game i have owned and it is fresh to me. same goes with skyrim and darksouls. They are all newer and refreshing, but something about call of duty pulls me back to play each one at least monthly (especially cod4 and W@W).

and no i didnt buy mw3. not because i dont want it, but because i want it less than 9 other games released in 2011, and i have only bought 4 of those. and because it lacks zombies. and if anything i love zombies most.

The multiplayer? Yes. The actual Campaigns? No.

Campaigns? Yes. Multiplayer? FUCK NO!

One campaign is in World War 2
3 campaigns are about a fictional war set in 2012 and beyond
1 campaign took place in World War 2, Vietnam, and the Cold War.

Multiplayer? 2 teams. go kill each other with different guns from different eras.

I'm just saying the campaigns were better than multiplayer ever was.

So here's how it breaks down for me:
CoD4: Overall the best. The Modern Warfare storyline is what I enjoy most about the games, but the CoD4 multiplayer was just glorious.
WaW: Zombies was cool.
Cod6: Improved on CoD4's multiplayer in some ways, but was not superior overall. Story was great. SpecOps was a fun addition as well/
Fuck Black Ops.
MW3: Storyline was nice, necessary to complete the saga. Fuck everything else about it.

inb4 thumbed down for even suggesting that the CoD series might possibly just be good.

Battlefield 2 and vietnam dominate BF3.
Some may have another opinion, but i strongly believe BF3 sucks.
The thing is, people would rather settle with a horrible game, than fight against it.

Bad Company 2 and the Vietnam add on are amazing. They are just unpopulated.
