Unless of course we find an efficient use for the overpriced organic byproduct of earth's pressure. For the time being we can make the assumption that men chose to befriend a species that is actually beneficial to our survival and well being. I agree. Something with that much potential shouldn't be wasted with jewelry. On a side note, did you know that they are able to make artificial diamonds that have the same carbon chemical structure as a real diamond? It has the same propertiesl. I hope that within the next few decades they will be able to replace silicon in computers with diamonds. Or at least make it able to work.

Yes I have heard of artificial diamonds. And commenting on diamonds being used in computers, scientists have made a pure carbon form called graphene which is harder than diamond! It is speculated researchers will be able to make a bullet proof vest out of graphene the thickness of a thin T-shirt. Also according to Moore's Law, which states the number of transistors in computers double approximately every two years, we might have to replace silicon in computers with graphene because it is more stable on a molecular level. Silicon transistors will not be able to work and will practically defuse on a molecular level. Graphene also conducts electricity 100 times faster than silicon.

Wow, I didn't know that. But when you think about it carbon is an amazing element. It can form something as hard as graphene while at the same time form something as soft as graphite. Not to mention it's responsible for life. Shit I think I might major in chemistry. Science is just too important and interesting for me not to study it.

Um yea, with enough training, a dog can do a lot of stuff. Sure most dogs you see dont act intelligent cause their owners are too lazy to train them anything. So far I have only taught my dog basic tricks, like sit, jump, roll, and shake. I will be working for more difficult ones.
