Why the fuck would anyone aspire to go to college? University is where it's at. I know of no one in my year who has applied to go to college. Jobs are tougher to come by, so higher qualifications are needed. These days, you're expected to jump straight into University courses. Though perhaps that's just in my country. Perhaps Americans are too stupid...

Besides the fact that the U.S. has the best colleges/universities in the world... Harvard/MIT are numbers 1 and 2 respectively, and 8/10 best are American.

Nope. Cambridge is number 1. Hardvard is 2 and MIT is 3. Also, currently 6/10 are US. The other 4 are UK.
