It's not an issue of being pretty or ugly, she is simply overweight. It's a health issue. I don't buy the whole "I'm pretty on the inside" whited washed argument, with the right motivation almost everyone can lose that kind of weight if they would actually commit to it. The first thing I notice in a girl is appearance. I know that's shallow but I can't view or fuck you're self-confidence. And I'm glad she has self-confidence but I don't have to be attracted to her for it. It's what I look for first. Because if I can't find her physically attractive I won't want to have any physical action. I have fat friends and they are cool but in a gf I have to be attracted first then the other things you mentioned such as interests, sense of humore, etc have to exist as well to date.
