You clearly don't understand how pissed off i get when i watch a game for that long to see it end in a 1-1 tie. There are some exciting scores in soccer but I still don't get any thrills from a game where 90% of the highlights are things almost happening. If your only argument that American football isn't legitimate is the name then you are the ignorant one. The entertainment value of American football totally trumps that of soccer. Shit the Superbowl has more viewers than anything ever aired. The highest ratings I've ever seen for soccer is when a trophy gets run over by a bus or if Messi goes HAM.

Just because something only almost happens doesn't mean it's not exciting, barca missed loads against Chelsea who won 1-0 in the end but it was so tense every time and you couldn't tell wat was going to happen the fact that only one goal was scored made that goal so much better and more significant than when a large team scores loads against a small team. Draws aren't bad either last season newcastle came back from 4-0 to 4-4 so it was still amazing. If you can only apreciate high scores and wins rather than draws then that's really quite immature
