They have neither been proven, nor dismissed, but are sustained by the need of proper justification for mutilating your baby.

I agree it looks better, but you can simply pull the skin back (it will stay) if you really feel the need... when I was young and hadn't any knowledge on sex and the parts involved, I saw one of my brother's porn and started watching all of them out of curiosity. All the guys were cut and I thought I had some sort of problem when my penis seemed to have a surplus in material. I would pull back my foreskin every night and hope it would stay that way so that I could feel normal, but every morning it was back to the same old saggy self.

It's healthier. Being cut reduces chance of penile cancers. Plus it's cleaner. Less bladder infections when you're cut. Reduces risk of catching HIV. But even all those things are ifish. No side, pro or anti circumcision, has any definitive proof on much at all. It's mostly a cultural thing, and the possible benefits really do outweigh the risks.
If I told you there was an out-patient procedure with a less than 0.5% health risk, that might offer all the advantages I just listed, would you take it?
And to be honest, as a guy who IS cut (and has been since infancy), the loss of sensitivity can't be all that bad, seeing as I can get off perfectly fine. If anything, years of free-balling in blue jeans has done more damage than circumcision ever did.
