I've actually been on 9gag before after seeing a post about it on here. It's not that bad. Actually, there were quite a few things in our new section that were in their older section.

Do you remember that old guy on youtube who would do rants on the current status of America and such and such who had no viewers? Well if you don't, now you sorta do. Funnyjunk, and possibly other sites, went and watched/commented/subscribed for him. You know what happened a day or so later? A storm of 9fags assaulted his videos with horrible comments or just spammed him saying "9GAAAGGGG!!!!" So displays like that sum up the maturity/intelligence of 9fags as a whole, not necessarily everyone is that way. I'm sure there are different things for everyone and some may just hate them for no reason, but that instance really ticked me off. Harassing older people, really? REALLY?? Sorry for ranting.
